Mikrometeorites
In this section you will find a special category of meteorites - micrometeorites. These are very small pieces of meteorites (usually measuring 0.2 to 0.4 mm). These are unique pieces of the universe, most of which are much older than classic meteorites - up to 10 billion years old.
For every micrometeorite you get a free:
- a micrometeorite slide to view it in a microscope
- a certificate of authenticity with a unique catalogue number
- a book autographed by Jon Larson "Star Hunter" (in English) on the phenomenon of micrometeorites
- a high-resolution digital photograph of the micrometeorite, from which magnifications up to 4 metres in size can be printed
