After years of collecting meteorites, and especially knowledge about them, we decided to publish a book about them and bring their fascinating world to others.
We are three authors, all of us (as one of only seven people in the Czech Republic) members of the International Meteorite Collectors Association I.M.C.A. At the same time, we found the first Czech micrometeorite and put the Czech Republic among the few countries in the world where such a unique piece has been found.
In more than 40 years only one (and unfortunately very small) book on meteorites has been published in Czech. We have decided to change this situation and we are working hard on the biggest book on meteorites ever written in our country. We are nearing its completion.
The book will be about 150 pages long and will contain both many interesting and often incredible stories of specific meteorites, as well as many previously unpublished photographs on very high quality paper.
